Noah’s Prayer
وَقَالَ نُوحࣱ رَّبِّ لَا تَذَرۡ عَلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مِنَ ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ دَيَّارًا ٢٦
And Noah said: My Lord! Leave not one of the disbelievers in the land.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Noah said: “My Lord, do not leave upon the earth any of the disbelievers.”
Insight
According to Elmalılı, this explains that they deserved destruction; Noah’s prayer, too, was because of their sins.

Even after long patience, trust Allah’s wisdom when you pray.
