Frequently asked questions

Does the app work offline?

Yes. The Arabic text, the meal (Turkish translation) and the full tefsir are on your device. Only recitation audio and word-by-word meanings need the internet.

How do I continue where I left off?

Tap the “Kaldığın yerden devam et” (continue reading) card in the Kur’an tab. Mushaf and Meal ve Tefsir each remember your last position.

How do I add the widget?

Touch and hold an empty area of the home screen → + at the top left → “Ayet” → “Günün Âyeti”. To pin a verse to the widget, tap “Widget’a koy” on the verse page.

How do I reset my hatim progress?

Ayarlar (Settings) → Hatim → Sıfırla (Reset).

Is the app available in English?

The app is currently in Turkish, with the Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır translation and commentary. More languages are planned.

Where do the translation and commentary come from?

From Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır’s “Hak Dini Kur’an Dili”. The short notes on verse cards are based on this commentary; if you notice a mistake, please let us know.
