Ayet (“the app”) helps you read, listen to and learn the Qur’an. We respect your privacy: no account is needed, and we never ask for your name, e-mail or location.

Data that stays on your device

Saved verses, reading progress, settings and your reading position are stored only on your device. We cannot see them.

Anonymous usage data

To improve the app we measure, anonymously, which screens and features are used (e.g. “verse opened”, “recitation started”, time on a screen). This data does not identify you, is not used for advertising and is not sold or shared with other companies. The analytics service is PostHog (servers in the USA). You can turn it off at any time in Settings → Privacy → Share usage data (Ayarlar → Gizlilik → Kullanım verisi paylaş).

Content loaded from the internet

Recitation audio is loaded from everyayah.com and word-by-word meanings from quran.com. Like any internet request, these services can see your IP address; nothing else is sent to them.

Tracking and ads

The app has no ads and does not track you across other apps or websites.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
