Asked About Blessings
ثُمَّ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ٨
Then, on that day, ye will be asked concerning pleasure.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Then on that day you will surely be asked about the blessings.
Insight
Elmalılı explains “na‘im” as every blessing a person enjoys: life, health, well-being, even a sip of sweet, cool water.
