The Sun and Its Brightness
وَٱلشَّمۡسِ وَضُحَىٰهَا ١
By the sun and his brightness.

Meaning
By the sun and its morning brightness.

Elmalılı explains “duha” as the time when the sun rises above the horizon and its light spreads and becomes visible to all.
