Al-Qiyamah 75:6
The Resurrection · Meccan · Juz 29 · Page 577
When?
يَسۡـَٔلُ أَيَّانَ يَوۡمُ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ ٦
He asketh: When will be this Day of Resurrection.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
He asks: “When is the Day of Resurrection?”
Insight
According to Elmalılı, he asks this, but when the Hour begins his eyes open, he sees the world collapsing on him and regrets his deeds; but the time for reproach has passed.
Reflect
Instead of “When?”, ask “Am I ready?”
