An Army from Heaven
We sent not down against his people after him a host from heaven, nor do We ever send.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
After him We sent down no army from heaven against his people, nor did We need to.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, sending an army openly from the sky in such cases is not Allah’s way, nor was it needed. A single sign is enough for His power.
Reflect
Consider how great changes sometimes come through small causes.
