I Breathed of My Spirit
And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
“When I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My spirit, fall down to him in prostration.”
Insight
According to Elmalılı, proportioning comes after creating; after man’s substance was created from clay, it took on human form.
Reflect
Reflect on the honour of the spirit breathed into you.
