Do Not Invalidate Your Deeds
O ye who believe! Obey Allah and obey the messenger, and render not your actions vain.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Obey Allah and obey the Messenger and do not invalidate your deeds.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, one must not ruin deeds as others did, through disbelief, hypocrisy, conceit, showing off and reminding others of favours.
Reflect
Don’t spoil a good deed by reminding others of it.
