He Is the Beneficent
إِنَّا كُنَّا مِن قَبۡلُ نَدۡعُوهُۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡبَرُّ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ٢٨
Lo! we used to pray unto Him of old. Lo! He is the Benign, the Merciful.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
“We used to supplicate Him before; indeed, He is the Beneficent, the Merciful.”
