We Feared Among Our Families
قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا كُنَّا قَبۡلُ فِيٓ أَهۡلِنَا مُشۡفِقِينَ ٢٦
Saying: Lo! of old, when we were with our families, we were ever anxious.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
“Indeed, we were before among our people fearful.”
