A Guardian over Every Soul
إِن كُلُّ نَفۡسࣲ لَّمَّا عَلَيۡهَا حَافِظࣱ ٤
No human soul but hath a guardian over it.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
There is no soul but has a guardian over it.

According to Elmalılı, over every soul there is a guardian who sees and watches it in every state, its whole being and all its deeds and movements.
