At-Takathur 102:6
The Rivalry in world increase · Meccan · Juz 30 · Page 600
You Will See
لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ ٦
For ye will behold hell-fire.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
If only you knew with certainty… You will surely see Hellfire.
Insight
Elmalılı sees an escalation in the repeated warnings: each is stronger than the last. One view says the first refers to the moment of death and the second to the resurrection.
Reflect
Try living a truth you know as if it were “certain knowledge”.
