Striving
فَإِذَا فَرَغۡتَ فَٱنصَبۡ ٧
So when thou art relieved, still toil.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
When you finish one task, devote yourself to the next and strive.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, ease should lead to effort, not laziness. If the obligatory is done, move to the voluntary; if the prayer is done, move to supplication. In this way ease grows and gratitude continues.
Reflect
When today’s work is done, ask: ‘What can I do now?’
