The Burden
وَوَضَعۡنَا عَنكَ وِزۡرَكَ ٢
And eased thee of the burden.

Meaning
Did We not lift your burden from you?

Elmalılı notes that the word ‘wizr’ means a heavy load, and that the meanings of sin and responsibility derive from it.
