The One Who Proportioned the Soul
وَنَفۡسࣲ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا ٧
And a soul and Him Who perfected it.

Meaning
And by the soul and the One who proportioned it.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, Allah created each soul with its own character and set it in order and balance. The indefinite “a soul” conveys its worth and variety.
