Kinship with the Jinn
وَجَعَلُواْ بَيۡنَهُۥ وَبَيۡنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ نَسَبࣰاۚ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمَتِ ٱلۡجِنَّةُ إِنَّهُمۡ لَمُحۡضَرُونَ ١٥٨
And they imagine kinship between him and the jinn, whereas the jinn know well that they will be brought before (Him).
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage.

According to Elmalılı, the shift from addressing them to speaking of them is because their words were too ugly to deserve address.
