A Great Sacrifice
وَفَدَيۡنَٰهُ بِذِبۡحٍ عَظِيمࣲ ١٠٧
Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim.

Meaning
And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice.

According to Elmalılı, a great sacrificial animal was given to be slaughtered in place of his son; this is the origin of the rite of sacrifice.
