What You Did Not Know
فَمَكَثَ غَيۡرَ بَعِيدࣲ فَقَالَ أَحَطتُ بِمَا لَمۡ تُحِطۡ بِهِۦ وَجِئۡتُكَ مِن سَبَإِۭ بِنَبَإࣲ يَقِينٍ ٢٢
But he was not long in coming, and he said: I have found out (a thing) that thou apprehendest not, and I come unto thee from Sheba with sure tidings.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
The hoopoe said: “I have learned what you have not; I bring you certain news from Sheba.”
Insight
According to Elmalılı, the hoopoe had reached where none had yet gone, explored and completed what was unknown.
