The Last and the First Are Allah’s
فَلِلَّهِ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ وَٱلۡأُولَىٰ ٢٥
But unto Allah belongeth the after (life), and the former.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
To Allah belongs the Hereafter and the first life.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, just as man’s coming into being was not in his hands but depended on Allah’s will, his end and Hereafter also belong to Allah.

The One who gave your beginning will give your end; trust Him.
