Is Every Wish Granted?
أَمۡ لِلۡإِنسَٰنِ مَا تَمَنَّىٰ ٢٤
Or shall man have what he coveteth.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Or is there for man whatever he wishes?
Insight
According to Elmalılı, does every wish of man, every hope and ideal he builds to his liking, come true? The idea that idols will intercede is such a fancy.
Reflect
Pursue a real goal, not a fantasy.
