The Setting Star
وَٱلنَّجۡمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ ١
By the Star when it setteth.

By the star when it descends.

According to Elmalılı, “najm” has several meanings: a star, the Pleiades, the Qur’an revealed in parts, or a stemless plant; each is considered possible here.
