None Will Deny It
لَيۡسَ لِوَقۡعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ ٢
There is no denying that it will befall.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
There is, at its occurrence, no denial.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, “wuqu‘” means falling, and “waq‘ah” a violent fall, which came to mean a great event that strikes. When the Hour comes, no one will remain to deny it.
