Gathering the Bones
أَيَحۡسَبُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ أَلَّن نَّجۡمَعَ عِظَامَهُۥ ٣
Thinketh man that We shall not assemble his bones.

Meaning
Does man think We will not assemble his bones?
Insight
Elmalılı relates that the verse was revealed about the Prophet’s neighbour ‘Adiyy ibn Abi Rabi‘ah, who asked: “Will Allah gather these rotten bones?”
