Planks and Nails
وَحَمَلۡنَٰهُ عَلَىٰ ذَاتِ أَلۡوَٰحࣲ وَدُسُرࣲ ١٣
And We carried him upon a thing of planks and nails.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
And We carried him on a construction of planks and nails.

Elmalılı explains “alwah” as flat planks and “dusur” as nails or ropes: Noah’s ark.
