His Lord Chose Him
فَٱجۡتَبَٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ فَجَعَلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ ٥٠
But his Lord chose him and placed him among the righteous.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
But his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, Allah did not leave him in that state; by His care He shielded him from blame, freed him from anger and grief, honoured him again with revelation and made him righteous.
Reflect
Believe that after a mistake Allah can choose you again.
