Leave Him to Me
فَذَرۡنِي وَمَن يُكَذِّبُ بِهَٰذَا ٱلۡحَدِيثِۖ سَنَسۡتَدۡرِجُهُم مِّنۡ حَيۡثُ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ ٤٤
Leave Me (to deal) with those who give the lie to this pronouncement. We shall lead them on by steps from whence they know not.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
So leave Me with whoever denies this message; We will draw them on step by step from where they do not know.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, this is one who disbelieves the Qur’an, calls it “tales of the ancients”, does not accept the need for prostration and obedience, and denies the punishment of the Hereafter.
