The Owner of Provision
أَمَّنۡ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي يَرۡزُقُكُمۡ إِنۡ أَمۡسَكَ رِزۡقَهُۥۚ بَل لَّجُّواْ فِي عُتُوࣲّ وَنُفُورٍ ٢١
Or who is he that will provide for you if He should withhold His providence? Nay, but they are set in pride and frowardness.

Meaning
Who could provide for you if He withheld His provision? Yet they persist in arrogance and aversion.
Insight
Elmalılı does not see provision only as food: water, air, light, even the power to digest are provision. Even if a morsel is put in one’s mouth, it is Allah who gives the strength to eat and digest it.
