Allah Has Heard

Allah hath heard the saying of her that disputeth with thee (Muhammad) concerning her husband, and complaineth unto Allah. And Allah heareth your colloquy. Lo! Allah is Hearer, Knower.

Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall

Meaning

Allah has heard the words of the woman who disputed with you about her husband and complained to Allah.

Insight

According to Elmalılı, “qad” here conveys both certainty and the fulfilment of something awaited: yes, Allah heard, as was hoped, listened and acted on it.

Reflect

Tell Allah your trouble openly; He hears.
