What Lasts
إِنَّ شَانِئَكَ هُوَ ٱلۡأَبۡتَرُ ٣
Lo! it is thy insulter (and not thou) who is without posterity.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
It is the one who hates you who is truly cut off.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, what is meant is not one who is angry for a moment and moves on, but one who persists in hatred. Those who later repent and believe are outside this judgement.
