A Wondrous Qur’an
Say (O Muhammad): It is revealed unto me that a company of the Jinn gave ear, and they said: Lo! we have heard a marvellous Qur’an.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
A group of jinn listened and said: “Indeed, we have heard a wondrous Qur’an.”
Insight
According to Elmalılı, “nafar” in Arabic usually means three to ten people; here it is used for jinn as well.
Reflect
Listen to the Qur’an today with wonder, as if hearing it for the first time.
