Toiling Towards Your Lord
Thou, verily, O man, art working toward thy Lord a work which thou wilt meet (in His presence).
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
O man! You are toiling towards your Lord with toil, and you will meet Him.
Insight
Elmalılı explains “kadh” as putting effort into a task and striving with all one’s strength. Good or bad, man is always travelling towards his Lord.
Reflect
Count today’s effort as a step on the road to meeting your Lord.
