Despite Their Love for It
وَيُطۡعِمُونَ ٱلطَّعَامَ عَلَىٰ حُبِّهِۦ مِسۡكِينࣰا وَيَتِيمࣰا وَأَسِيرًا ٨
And feed with food the needy wretch, the orphan and the prisoner, for love of Him.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
And they give food, despite love for it, to the poor, the orphan and the captive.
Insight
Elmalılı gives two meanings: they give food though they too want and need it; or they give not reluctantly but wholeheartedly and willingly.
