Those Who Forgot Allah
And be not ye as those who forgot Allah, therefor He caused them to forget their souls. Such are the evil-doers.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Do not be like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, those who forget Allah become like drunkards, unaware of what they do; they fail to grasp the worth of man and human rights and come to worship base things.
Reflect
Remember yourself today by remembering Allah.
