Seized by the Right Hand
لَأَخَذۡنَا مِنۡهُ بِٱلۡيَمِينِ ٤٥
We assuredly had taken him by the right hand.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
We would have seized him by the right hand.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, “yamin” here means either the Prophet’s right hand or Allah’s strength and power.
