Not the Word of a Soothsayer
وَلَا بِقَوۡلِ كَاهِنࣲۚ قَلِيلࣰا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ ٤٢
Nor diviner’s speech - little is it that ye remember.

Meaning
Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, a soothsayer is one who deals with eavesdropping jinn and devils and, from what he gets from them, tells of the unseen by guesswork; the Qur’an is not like that.

Put no stock in fortune-telling and soothsaying.
