Revealed in Parts
And those who disbelieve say: Why is the Qur’an not revealed unto him all at once? (It is revealed) thus that We may strengthen thy heart therewith; and We have arranged it in right order.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
They said: “Why was the Qur’an not revealed to him all at once?” Thus, that We may strengthen your heart.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, this was a meaningless objection; the essence of its inimitability lies in its revelation in parts.
Reflect
Read the Qur’an little by little, but steadily.
