Understanding Too Late
وَجِاْيٓءَ يَوۡمَئِذِۭ بِجَهَنَّمَۚ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ ٢٣
And hell is brought near that day; on that day man will remember, but how will the remembrance (then avail him).
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
And Hell is brought that day. That day man will remember, but what good will remembering do him?
Insight
According to Elmalılı, that day Hell is brought out so it can no longer be denied by the arrogant. Man understands, but it is too late.
