They Slept Little

They used to sleep but little of the night.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
They used to sleep but little of the night.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, out of longing for Allah and concern for the Hereafter, sleep would not come to their eyes; they worshipped and did their duties. “Huju‘” means little sleep.
Reflect
Wake a little early tonight and pray.
