An Easy Gathering
يَوۡمَ تَشَقَّقُ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ عَنۡهُمۡ سِرَاعࣰاۚ ذَٰلِكَ حَشۡرٌ عَلَيۡنَا يَسِيرࣱ ٤٤
On the day when the earth splitteth asunder from them, hastening forth (they come). That is a gathering easy for Us (to make).

Meaning
On the Day the earth breaks away from them as they hasten forth; that is a gathering easy for Us.

According to Elmalılı, the repetition of “the Day” is to convey its terror.
