A Watcher Ready
مَّا يَلۡفِظُ مِن قَوۡلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيۡهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدࣱ ١٨
He uttereth no word but there is with him an observer ready.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, whatever comes out of his mouth, good or evil, beside him is a watcher ready, observing what he does and says.
