If Satan Prods You
And if a whisper from the devil reach thee (O Muhammad) then seek refuge in Allah. Lo! He is the Hearer, the Knower.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
And if there comes to you from Satan an evil suggestion, seek refuge in Allah.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, one should not follow it but immediately seek refuge in Allah from its evil, saying “a‘udhu billah”; He hears and knows.
