We Will Return to Our Lord
وَإِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ ١٤
And lo! unto our Lord we surely are returning.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
“And indeed we, to our Lord, will return.”
Insight
According to Elmalılı, all our turning and travelling is towards Him; in the end we will reach Him. This recalls the greatest aim of Islam.
