فَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيۡرࣰا يَرَهُۥ ٧
And whoso doeth good an atom’s weight will see it then.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, a ‘dharrah’ is a tiny ant barely visible to the eye; it is also used for a speck of dust seen in sunlight. Ibn Abbas put his hand in the soil, lifted it, blew on it and said: ‘Each of these is a dharrah.’ The real point is that even the smallest good will not be lost with Allah.
Reflect
Today, do a small good deed that no one will see.
