The Breathing Dawn
وَٱلصُّبۡحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ ١٨
And the breath of morning.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
And by the dawn as it breathes.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, the dawn breathing is the moment it begins to open; it hints at the sweetness of the morning breeze and its relief from the night’s heaviness.
Reflect
Tomorrow morning, take a deep breath and give thanks.
