Disbeliever and Believer
He it is Who created you, but one of you is a disbeliever and one of you is a believer, and Allah is Seer of what ye do.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
It is He who created you; among you are disbelievers and believers.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, a disbeliever is one who does not recognise Him, His power and His signs; who denies, rejects, is ungrateful and covers the truth.
