Allah’s She-Camel
فَقَالَ لَهُمۡ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ نَاقَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَسُقۡيَٰهَا ١٣
And the messenger of Allah said: It is the she-camel of Allah, so let her drink.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
The messenger of Allah said to them: “Leave Allah’s she-camel and her drink.”
Insight
According to Elmalılı, the prophet Salih had warned them: do not touch this camel made a sign of his prophethood, nor her day for drinking.
