Noah’s Descendants
وَجَعَلۡنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥ هُمُ ٱلۡبَاقِينَ ٧٧
And made his seed the survivors.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
And We made his descendants the survivors.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, apart from Noah’s three sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, and their wives, all in the ark died without offspring; humanity continued from them.
