A Scalding Mixture
ثُمَّ إِنَّ لَهُمۡ عَلَيۡهَا لَشَوۡبࣰا مِّنۡ حَمِيمࣲ ٦٧
And afterward, lo! thereupon they have a drink of boiling water.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water.
Insight
Elmalılı explains “shawb” as a mixture added to a drink, and “hamim” as boiling water.
