When It Came, They Denied
فَكَفَرُواْ بِهِۦۖ فَسَوۡفَ يَعۡلَمُونَ ١٧٠
Yet (now that it is come) they disbelieve therein; but they will come to know.
Translation: Marmaduke Pickthall
Meaning
But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know.
Insight
According to Elmalılı, when the Qur’an, the finest of reminders, came, far from embracing it sincerely they were ungrateful.
